These terms and conditions govern your use of the AutoTreads website and the services we provide from our workshop at 13B Carpenter Road, East Tamaki, Auckland, New Zealand. By using this website or booking with us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About Us
AutoTreads provides wheel alignment, tyre fitting and mechanical services for trucks, trailers, buses, motorhomes, vans and cars. You can reach us by phone on 09 274 9588, by email at info@autotreads.co.nz, or in person at our East Tamaki workshop during opening hours.
2. Bookings and Appointments
Submitting an appointment request through this website is a request, not a confirmed booking. We will contact you by phone or email to confirm a time. A booking is only confirmed once we have agreed a date and time with you directly.
Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to change or cancel an appointment, so we can offer the slot to another customer.
3. Quotes and Pricing
Any estimate we give before inspecting your vehicle is indicative only. Once we have assessed the vehicle, we will explain the work required and confirm the cost before proceeding. Additional work that becomes apparent during a job will be discussed with you before we carry it out.
4. Workmanship
We carry out all work to recognised industry standards, backed by our MTA certification and NZHT WAA accreditation. Where a fault is caused by wear, damage or a condition outside the scope of the work you asked us to do, we will let you know and recommend next steps.
5. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for giving us accurate information about your vehicle and any known faults. Please ensure the vehicle is legally able to be driven to and from our workshop and that you have the authority to commission work on it.
6. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We will provide an invoice detailing the work carried out and parts supplied.
7. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
8. Website Use
The content on this website is provided for general information. While we keep it accurate and up to date, we do not warrant that it is complete or error free. We may update or change the site at any time without notice.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AutoTreads is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. This does not affect any liability that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
